It was worth pointing out that accepting Kosovar secession (illegal under Serbian law) but not Crimean secession (illegal under Ukrainian law) is a bit inconsistent, although I wasn't willing to believe the referendum result at the time. I still think it was the Russians themselves that literally drove in.
