Augmented Reality Gets Too Real

Once upon a time, gods and angels came unto the people in the night and had their way with them.  Later, demonic succubi and incubi were the culprits.  More recently, sinister alien Reptilians and butt-probing Greys did the deed.  Today, these strange hauntings have adapted to the shifting zeitgeist, and a woman in Moscow claims to have been raped by a Pokemon.

Gender Disparity in Sentencing Benefits Transsexual

Caitlyn Jenner may keep the gold medal she earned in the men's decathlon, but Gina Owen will not be held accountable for her sexual crimes as a man, because "she was literally a different person when she committed these offences."

"A good manner in the village"

In Malawi it is believed that a forty-something man with HIV being paid to have sex with 12-year-olds is an important cleansing to avoid the infection of the community by the girls' irresponsible ways.

British Doctors See Over 100 Cases of FGM Every Week

Although it is not a British tradition, Britain has had a law against female genital mutilation for over thirty years.  Nevertheless, health authorities recorded over 5,700 cases in just one year.  The parents and their children do not perceive this as abuse, and curiously, neither does the law, as no convictions have been brought.

George Takei Not Impressed By Story Change in His Honour

In the ongoing march of cultural appropriation, Star Trek's Hikaru Sulu (who was the only character shown to have a daughter in the original timeline, and who made advances on Uhura while space-drunk) is now gay--because writing new characters, and telling characters apart from the actors who played them, is hard.

"The precise motivation for the rampage remains unclear"

Here’s who the New York Times blames, in order: Republican politicians, Republican-led state legislatures, Republican governors, Republican federal lawmakers, Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, anyone who believes in traditional marriage, anyone who’s ever voted to preserve traditional marriage, and anyone who has ever voted for anyone who believes in or has voted to preserve traditional marriage.

Terrorist Was Kind Of A Jerk

Omar Mateen was toxic, unhinged, unstable, racist, homophobic, prone to talking about killing people, and employed, prior to killing or injuring over a hundred people in Orlando.  A former co-worker left his job to get away from Mateen, and isn't at all surprised at what happened.  Their employer tolerated the man's offenses because he was Muslim, but don't you dare suggest he took up arms for the same reason.

Enriching Experiences on German Buses

Teen girls in Germany are being sexually assaulted by migrant men on public transit on a daily basis, but they haven't said anything because their elders have told them we mustn't judge.

Elijah Wood and Hollywood

Elijah Wood, himself having avoided being preyed upon by Hollywood moguls, has seen enough, heard enough, and read enough to break ranks and attest to the presence of organised child abuse in the global centre of culture creation.

Muslims Prize Canadian Freedoms

Canadian Muslims are more proud of being Canadian than non-Muslim Canadians--but young Muslims are more attached to their religious identity than their parents, more likely to value Canada for its multiculturalism and diversity rather than its freedom and democracy, more likely to be pessimistic about discrimination, and more likely to say their faith is more important to them than their nationality.

More female Muslims are wearing the niqab than ten years ago, with the largest growth among young people who have been to university.  In general, Muslims with less education are more likely to wear the niqab, but not in Canada.

Almost twice as many Muslims as non-Muslims think that the father should be the master of the house, and less than half as many think homosexuality should be accepted by society.  89% of Muslims report being satisfied with the direction Canada is going, compared with 56% of non-Muslims.

"Muslim Canadians," itself a discrimination, say they have experienced discrimination more than that reported by the "general population," an apparently undifferentiated mass.  How it could be logically otherwise is unclear.

Lawyer Practices Law

Jian Ghomeshi's lawyer egregiously denies that she betrayed all women by successfully defending her client in a court of law. "We know as a matter of human nature, some people tell the truth, some people don't," the traitor said.  Outrage at the acquittal has been accompanied by the hashtag, "#IBelieveSurvivors," not at all begging the question.

Solidarity in Heels

Male servers at Ottawa restaurant Union Local 613 wore dresses and heels to work for part of a shift last Wednesday, after seeing on TV that some women feel compelled to wear sexy outfits to work.  Reportedly the men felt uncomfortable.  Their feet hurt.  People made jokes and stared.  It was ridiculous. We should all wear identical burlap boilersuits, and be done with sexual dimorphism.  It's a failed experiment.

Refugees Rescued Woman From Refugees

It has emerged that a 27-year-old American neuroscience student was protected from being sexually assaulted by Syrian refugees by Syrian refugees.

On New Year's Eve in Cologne and other European cities, hundreds of young male economic migrants from North Africa and the Middle East abused, assaulted, robbed or raped at least a hundred young European women.  Europe has learned the expression "taharrush gamea" for what is apparently a phenomenon not without precedent in the Islamic world.  In this case fireworks were used to distract the crowd, and premeditated posses surrounded vulnerable women to assault them.

Thankfully one group created a protective cordon around one woman to prevent her from being raped.  This demonstrates that not all Muslims are bad people, thereby negating any possible concern about cultural incompatibilities.

Star Wars porn sees 500% sales growth in two weeks

"The spike in sales for the parody is representative of a much larger trend of brand-specific merchandise for Star Wars, which shows the strong bond fans have with the movies."

New Miley Cyrus Music Video Promotes The Sexualization of Infants

The transformation from a seemingly wholesome American girl into super whore (sex slave) began young, with it becoming obvious to anyone with a semi-functional brain that Miley was being sexually exploited, and also being used to transform her fans into pornographic prepubescents.

"I like you," the Tampa fourth grader in the Hillsborough County Public Schools district wrote inside a heart drawing. "I like your hair because it is not sloppy. I like your eyes because they sparkle like diamonds."

Satanic statue unveiled in Detroit

"The bronze Baphomet statue, featuring a human body, goat’s head and wings, was unveiled just before midnight to cheers of 'Hail Satan'. Statues of a boy and a girl in poses of adoration stand on either side."

"Fitzgerald warned residents to be cautious. 'Use your sixth sense,' he said."

Americans' Over-Sensitive 'Gaydar' Misses Mark by 600%

"Only 1.6 percent of adults said they were homosexual, and 0.7 percent self-identified as bisexuals. The overwhelming majority – more than 96 percent – classified themselves as straight.

According to Gallup, all available estimates of the actual homosexual population in the United States are 'far lower' than what Americans estimate."
